sequel: Pet cats become aggressive

The cat flap or even an open door or window could potentially allow strange cats to invade the house and this can lead to aggressive behavior on the part of both parties. Surprisingly, there are occasions when the invading force does not get opposition from the resident cat, but this is probably greatly due to fear rather than positive acceptance of the encounter. Such invasions can also cause friction among members of the same household, as they increase their anxiety and can potentially exacerbate tensions that have already been maintained at a tolerable level. The volume of cats in the neighborhood can also have a similar effect, as their presence becomes a pressure that they are unable to overcome.
