Couple Adopted a 33-Pound Cat and Decided to Begin His Weight Loss Journey

A couple from Michigan planned to adopt a kitten, so they decided to go to the local Humane Society. When they arrived there they were instantly drawn to a gentle giant named Bronson. Once they met him they fell in love immediately. Bronson’s previously owner had passed away and that is how Bronson ended up at the shelter.

Bronson weighed in at a staggering 33 pounds – it was thought that he had been fed on human scraps regularly. Still, they brought him home and decided that the most important thing was to set him up on a weight loss plan, he was in danger of suffering from fatty liver disease, a fatal illness. The couple have adjusted Bronson’s diet three times since he moved in with them and along with regular exercise they hope that the pounds will soon be falling off him.
